O Bethlehem

“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old,  from ancient times.” Micah 5:2 ... No one expects anything of much worth to come out of forgotten, border land, wastelands such housing estates ... Avery Hill is a forgotten border land place and many do not expect much to come from it ... the thing is that scripture continuely challenges me, as someone called to this land and its people, to seek out the richness and beauty that is here ... even though you are small Avery Hill ... what will come from you? God what are you up to here? Where are you?
